Digital Health Awards

Honouring the companies, platforms and founders rewriting how the world stays well — from connected care and remote monitoring to AI-assisted diagnosis and patient-centred apps.

A defining moment for connected care

Why the Digital Health Awards Matter

Digital health has moved from the margins of the clinic to the centre of how care is delivered. Telehealth visits, remote patient monitoring, wearable biosensors, AI triage and patient engagement apps are no longer pilots — they are the operating system of modern medicine. Health systems, payers and patients now expect outcomes that are measurable, equitable and available on the phone in their pocket. The companies that meet that expectation are reshaping a market measured in the hundreds of billions of dollars.

The Digital Health Awards, part of the World Technology Awards within our Healthcare Technology programme, exist to find and celebrate those companies. We recognise organisations that combine clinical rigour with engineering excellence — teams that can demonstrate real adoption, real safety and real impact on patient lives, not just a polished demo.

Winning is more than a trophy. It is independent, third-party validation that your platform delivers on its promise — a signal that resonates with hospital procurement committees, regulators, investors and the clinicians whose trust you need to earn. Whether you are a venture-backed startup or an established medtech leader, this is your platform to be seen by the people who decide what gets adopted next. ๐Ÿ“ฑ

Good to know

Frequently Asked Questions

Any organisation using software, connected devices or data to improve health, care delivery or wellbeing. That spans telehealth, remote monitoring, clinical AI, digital therapeutics, patient apps, mental health platforms and health data infrastructure. If your product touches a patient or a clinician, you are eligible.

Not necessarily. Many digital health solutions sit outside formal medical-device regulation. Where clearance or certification does apply to your product, our judges will look for evidence of compliance and clinical governance as part of the trust and safety criterion.

You supply the evidence in your submission — published studies, peer-reviewed results, real-world outcome metrics, adoption figures or anonymised case studies. You never share identifiable patient data. Stronger, verifiable evidence simply scores better.

Absolutely. Dedicated honours such as Digital Health Startup of the Year and Best Emerging Digital Health Solution are designed for early-stage ventures. Judges weight traction, clinical promise and innovation, so a focused young company can outshine larger incumbents. See our judging process for detail.

If your work spans the wider sector, explore the HealthTech Awards, the Medical Technology Awards and the Healthcare Innovation Awards. Companies operating in a specific market can also enter our Middle East Technology Awards regional programme.
