Every entry is evaluated by an independent panel against six weighted dimensions.
- Measurable Environmental Impact — quantified reductions in emissions, energy, water or waste, supported by transparent methodology and baselines.
- Technical Innovation — the novelty and defensibility of the underlying engineering relative to existing alternatives.
- Scalability — evidence that the solution can move beyond pilots to meaningful, repeatable commercial deployment.
- Commercial Viability — unit economics, traction, funding and a credible path to sustained operation without permanent subsidy.
- Verification & Transparency — quality of data, third-party validation and honest disclosure of limitations and trade-offs.
- Social & Systemic Contribution — wider benefits to communities, supply chains and the broader transition to a low-carbon economy.
