SaaS Awards
Honouring the software-as-a-service platforms that turn subscription delivery into durable, customer-loved products — from category-defining suites to lean upstarts rewriting the rules of recurring revenue.
Celebrating the platforms that made software a service
Software-as-a-service has quietly become the default way the modern world runs. The applications that schedule a shift, close a deal, reconcile an invoice, or onboard a new hire no longer live on a hard drive — they live in the browser, update themselves overnight, and bill by the seat. The SaaS Awards exist to recognise the teams behind these platforms: the product builders, engineers, customer-success leaders and founders who turned the promise of "always on, always improving" into something people rely on every working day.
Building great SaaS is deceptively hard. It demands relentless reliability, thoughtful onboarding, pricing that scales with the value delivered, security that holds up to enterprise scrutiny, and a roadmap that keeps churn low while net retention climbs. The platforms that win here are not simply the largest; they are the ones that make complex work feel effortless, that earn renewals on merit rather than lock-in, and that treat every release as a chance to deepen trust.
Recognition on the world stage matters because the SaaS market is crowded and noisy. A credible, independently judged award gives buyers a shortcut to quality, gives investors a signal of momentum, and gives teams a moment of pride that fuels the next twelve months of building. Whether you ship horizontal infrastructure or a sharply focused vertical tool, this is where serious software-as-a-service work is seen and celebrated. ☁️
SaaS Awards categories
Six distinct honours spanning the full arc of a software-as-a-service business — from first paying customer to global category leadership.

View criteria →SaaS Product of the Year
Awarded to a single platform whose usability, depth and reliability set the standard customers measure every other tool against. Judged on adoption, satisfaction and tangible outcomes.
View criteria →SaaS Innovation Award

For an early-stage platform (typically under five years old) showing exceptional traction, product-market fit and a credible path to durable, profitable recurring revenue.

What a SaaS Award delivers
Buyer Trust at the Point of Decision
An independent award shortens sales cycles by giving prospects third-party validation exactly when they are comparing vendors and weighing renewal risk.
Investor and Board Signal
Recognised excellence strengthens fundraising narratives and board updates, reinforcing momentum metrics with external, credible proof of market standing.
Earned Media and Brand Lift
A win supplies press-ready proof points, social content and a badge that elevates landing pages, decks and outbound campaigns for a full year.
Talent Attraction and Retention
Top engineers and product people want to build where the work is celebrated. An award helps recruiting stand out and reminds your team their effort is seen.

- Enterprise Software Awards — for large-scale platforms serving complex organisations.
- Business Software Awards — for productivity and operations tools across the SMB and mid-market.
- CRM Software Awards — for customer relationship and revenue platforms.
- ERP Software Awards — for resource planning and back-office systems.
- Middle East Technology Awards — regional recognition across all sectors.
SaaS Awards FAQ
Any software product delivered over the cloud and billed on a recurring, subscription basis qualifies. This includes horizontal suites, vertical industry tools, API-first developer platforms and AI-native applications. The defining traits are multi-tenant or cloud-hosted delivery, ongoing updates and a subscription pricing model.
Both are welcome. We run dedicated honours such as SaaS Startup of the Year and Best Emerging SaaS Platform specifically for younger teams, while SaaS Company of the Year recognises established leaders. Entries are judged relative to stage, so a startup is never measured against a global incumbent.
An independent panel scores each submission across six weighted dimensions: product quality and usability, customer outcomes and retention, innovation and differentiation, growth and traction, security and reliability, and vision and roadmap. Evidence such as retention metrics, customer testimonials and case studies strengthens an entry.
Yes. If your platform genuinely fits multiple categories — for example SaaS Product of the Year and SaaS Innovation Award, or a related programme such as the Enterprise Software Awards — you may submit a tailored entry for each. We recommend customising every submission to the specific criteria.
Winners receive an official World Technology Awards trophy, a digital winner's badge for use across marketing and sales channels, a feature in our winners showcase, and press-ready recognition that strengthens buyer trust, investor narratives and recruiting for the year ahead.
