Cybersecurity Awards
Honouring the defenders, builders and visionaries who keep the digital world safe — from threat hunters and SOC teams to the founders engineering the next generation of security technology.
Recognising the Frontline of Digital Trust
Why the Cybersecurity Awards Matter
Cybersecurity has moved from a back-office cost centre to the foundation on which every digital business is built. As organisations migrate workloads to the cloud, adopt artificial intelligence at scale and connect millions of devices, the attack surface expands faster than most defences can keep pace. Ransomware crews operate like enterprises, nation-state actors probe critical infrastructure, and a single misconfiguration can expose the data of millions. In this environment, the teams and products that hold the line rarely receive the public recognition they deserve.
The Cybersecurity Awards exist to change that. We celebrate the companies, platforms and individuals advancing the practice of defence — whether through breakthrough detection engineering, zero-trust architecture, identity protection, or the relentless, often invisible work of incident response. Our programme is sector-specific and rigorously judged, so a win signals genuine technical merit rather than marketing spend.
For winners, the award becomes a durable trust signal. In a market where buyers, boards and regulators increasingly scrutinise security posture, independent recognition shortens sales cycles, strengthens partnerships and helps attract the scarce talent the industry depends on. 🛡️

What We Recognise
Six distinct honours spanning the full spectrum of cybersecurity — from established platform vendors to first-time founders building the defences of tomorrow.
Cybersecurity Company of the Year
For the organisation that has set the standard in protecting customers, scaling responsibly and shaping the direction of the wider security industry over the past year.
Related: Security Innovation →Cybersecurity Product of the Year
Awarded to the platform or tool delivering measurable risk reduction — from EDR and SIEM to identity, cloud workload protection and beyond.
Related: Data Protection →Cybersecurity Innovation Award
Celebrating a novel approach — an inventive use of AI, behavioural analytics or automation that meaningfully changes how defenders work.
Related: Security Innovation →Cybersecurity Startup of the Year
Recognising an early-stage company under five years old that is reshaping a security category with strong traction and clear technical differentiation.
Related: Threat Intelligence →Best Emerging Security Technology
For the breakthrough capability — post-quantum cryptography, attack-surface management, deception or beyond — poised to define the next era of defence.
Related: Information Security →Cybersecurity Excellence Award
Honouring sustained operational excellence — the SOC, MSSP or in-house team consistently delivering outstanding detection, response and resilience.

Identity & Access Specialists
Innovators in IAM, privileged access, passwordless authentication and zero-trust enforcement.
Cloud Security Firms
Providers securing multi-cloud, container, Kubernetes and serverless environments at scale.
Incident Response Teams
Forensics, breach response and recovery specialists who restore operations under pressure.
GRC & Compliance Platforms
Vendors simplifying risk, governance, audit and regulatory compliance for security teams.
AI Security Startups
Founders applying machine learning to detection, automation and the security of AI itself.
The Value of Recognition
Benefits of Winning
Independent Credibility
A rigorously judged award validates your security claims to sceptical buyers, boards and procurement teams — cutting through a crowded, noisy market.
Commercial Momentum
Winners use the accolade across sales decks, RFP responses and campaigns to shorten cycles and differentiate from competitors with similar feature lists.
Talent & Retention
In a sector with a chronic skills shortage, public recognition makes your organisation a more attractive place for top security engineers to build a career.
Partnerships & Investment
An award strengthens your standing with channel partners, alliances and investors who look for external proof points before committing.
How We Evaluate

Our independent panel of security practitioners, analysts and former CISOs scores every entry against six weighted criteria.
- Technical Efficacy — demonstrable ability to detect, prevent or respond to real-world threats, supported by evidence and benchmarks.
- Innovation & Differentiation — originality of approach and how meaningfully it advances on existing methods in the category.
- Customer Impact — measurable risk reduction, faster response times and credible references or case studies.
- Scalability & Reliability — performance, resilience and operational maturity across diverse, demanding environments.
- Threat Relevance — alignment with the current and emerging threat landscape and adversary tradecraft.
- Ethics & Responsibility — responsible disclosure, transparency, privacy by design and a clear security culture.

Frequently Asked Questions
Any organisation operating in cybersecurity is eligible — software vendors, MSSPs, threat intelligence providers, identity and cloud security firms, incident response teams, GRC platforms and security startups. Entries are accepted from companies of all sizes and from every region worldwide.
You can enter Cybersecurity Company of the Year, Product of the Year, the Innovation Award, Startup of the Year, Best Emerging Security Technology and the Cybersecurity Excellence Award. You may submit to more than one category if your work fits the criteria. Related sectors include Information Security, Data Protection and Threat Intelligence.
An independent panel of security practitioners, analysts and former CISOs scores each submission against six weighted criteria: technical efficacy, innovation, customer impact, scalability, threat relevance and ethics. Scores are aggregated to determine finalists and winners.
No. You should provide enough evidence to demonstrate efficacy and impact — benchmarks, anonymised case studies and customer outcomes — but you are never required to reveal confidential architecture, exploit details or client identities. Judges respect commercial and operational sensitivity.
