World Technology Awards 2027 nominations: what a complete entry looks like and how to finish in 20 minutes
A complete entry for the technology awards nomination 2027 cycle needs five things. The right category, 150 words on what you built, three or four metrics, two customer references and a security certification. Most founders finish in about 20 minutes. The window now open closes on 15 October 2026.
Nominations for the 2027 cycle are open now. You can enter your own company, or a client can nominate you. An independent jury scores every entry on merit. There is no public vote.
One programme and one category are free. Paid packages start at USD 299 and add programmes and categories. No payment reaches the jury or changes a result, as our fee page sets out.
What counts as a complete technology awards nomination for 2027
We call an entry complete when a judge could score it without asking us for anything. Evidence does that work. Adjectives do not.

Category choice decides who reads you. SaaS and IT services work fits Best Emerging Software Company or Best Emerging IT Consulting Company. AI work splits across the AI Platform Innovation Award, Best AI Startup, Best AI Services Solution Provider and Best AI‑based Solution for Healthcare. Fintech and cybersecurity have their own pages.
The gap we see most often is a number with no period attached. Churn down 40 per cent means little without a date range. Our panel argues hardest over AI entries built on a vendor model, so name the part your team wrote.
How to finish in 20 minutes
Collect three items before you open the form: metrics with dates, two customer references, and your certification date. That is the slow part.
Then open the nomination form and fill the first page. The entry saves as you go, and we e-mail a resume link. Close the tab, chase the missing figure, return to the same entry.
Write the description last and keep it plain. We score the evidence, not the prose. Check your draft against the six criteria on our judging process page.
After you submit
The window now open closes on 15 October 2026. Our jury scores between 20 September and 20 October 2026. Winners are confirmed internally between 3 and 30 October 2026, and recognised at the gala on 14 November 2026 at the Westin Marina Hotel in Dubai.
Entries that arrive later join the next cycle. Its galas are set: Dubai on 15 May 2027, Bangkok on 15 July 2027, Dubai again on 10 November 2027.
